Augustana Lutheran Church of Andover was built in the 1860’s when the faithful congregation of Swedish immigrants quickly outgrew the nearby Jenny Lind Chapel. Readings for the Week: September 17th – September 23rd
All Saints Sunday is November 2nd
On All Saints Sunday, we remember our loved ones who have left this earth and how God’s Spirit makes us all holy ones–that is “saints.” We invite people to bring into worship a picture of their loved one, so we might remember them and their lives of faith during our service.
Food Offering
Each Sunday during the month of November, we invite the congregation to bring in food to be donated to our local food pantry.
Thanksgiving Service 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 25th 2025
Join us on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving for a service of thanksgiving with Holy Communion. Our guest preacher will be Bishop Stacie Fidlar of the ELCA Northern Illinois Synod. Linger after the service for a time of fellowship with light refreshments. All are welcome.
